Bootlace 2.1 Easily Installs Android 2.2 On Your iPhone 2G / 3G

My trademark phrase: Jailbreakers have all the fun! Getting Android on your iPhone is nothing new to the market, but getting it done in an easy fashion is a whole different ball game. So, just as you can easily install Windows on a Mac through a Mac OS utility called Bootcamp, you can now install Android 2.2 on your iPhone through a utility called Bootlace. What makes it stand out from the crowd is the ability to install the iDroid project on your iPhone without the need of a computer.
Sadly not all is fun and games. This currently only works on Jailbroken First Generation iPhones and the iPhone 3G. This is the same case for the first and second generation iPod Touch. All you need to do is:

1. Head onto Cydia,

2. Look for repo: http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk

3. Install Bootlace

4. Install iDroid from within Bootlace,.. and you're set for a dual boot

More detailed instructions can be found in their wiki in case you have any questions on compatibility.

And of course, remember this is not guaranteed to work in every case. So hey, If you were thinking of getting rid of your old iPhone 3G, maybe there is a reason to hold on to it for a little longer after all.
