The "Attentive Phone" app from HTC is a free download for Windows Phone 7's from HTC and it adds a few nice accelerometer feature enhancements to the Windows Phone 7 dialer. Well, actually it adds 4 enhancements. You can quiet the ring on pickup, so if you're phone's just laying on the desk the ring will be loud and then when you pick it up, it will quiet down. Pocket mode is pretty nice. That will use the proximity sensor to tell if the phone is in your pocket and will increase the ringer volume accordingly. If you're currently in a call, you can flip the phone face down on a table in order to instantly turn on speaker phone mode. Finally, if you see an incoming call, you can flip the phone face down on a desk in order to mute the ringer. See the video below to see all of these features in action.
