Google YouTube Remote for Android Released

Three weeks ago, Google released its stand-alone YouTube application update for Android smartphones and on the same note of enriching your viewing experience, has recently released the YouTube Remote application for Android 2.1 Eclair and above.
Installing this will allow you to not only remote control your PC or Google TV using your Android handset but to search for a video on the phone and play it on another device. The Remote application also has fast forward, rewind, play/pause, volume control and video preview capabilities so you can take a glance at the recording before sending it to the big screen.

You will need to sign in with the same credentials to both the YouTube Remote app on your Android handset and YouTube Leanback on your PC or Google TV and this will pair the application on your device with your big screen Leanback. So far the app is in a Beta stage and currently only available in the U.S. so if you want to give it a try, look it up in the Market or scan the below code.
