Over the last couple of years we've been following the progress of Mozilla's attempts to make a mobile browser. They started withFennecwith Windows Mobile, which was very much unfinished. After canning that project, they've moved on to Android with Firefox Mobile, and it's finally starting to show some significant progress. The latest beta of Firefox 4 for Android is just about good enough to use on a daily basis. The tab management is super fast, the Firefox Sync functionality is well done, and even add-ons work. If you want to try Firefox mobile on Android for yourself, just point your mobile browser to firefox.com/m/beta or snap a picture of the QR-Code.
